80's Highlight

So I attended the Women in Film Palm Springs networking breakfast this past weekend and got to meet Loraine Dupres, a tv/screenwriter most famous for writing the "Who shot JR?" episode of Dallas! It was great fun, and I'm going to the Women in Film L.A. networking breakfast this Friday, where the guest speaker is the screenwriter of "Memoirs of a Geisha" and whose first credit was one of my favorite flicks - "Shag." Should be a fun time, and trying to work on the whole networking thing.

PS. Finished my taxes for the year! 11 months of freedom! :)

Doesn't every girl love that movie?

"Hey, Rocky! Watch me pull a rabbit outta my hat."

I think I'll go write an ode to Phoebe Cates and Bridget Fonda.

My personal fav:

"Ya'll....I'm wild. I guess I've been wild all along, I just didn't know it till now."

Dude, this guy came up to me in a bar once and said I look like Phoebe Cates! I don't, but wow, what an original and flattering pick-up line, lol. While I did not go home with him, I did let him buy me a red-headed slut ;)

Aimee, thank you soooooo much for commenting on my blog about all the political stuff after that asshole spouted all that BS. I have this sinking feeling in my gut that he is none other than Psycho Stalker from my past. The tone of that comment, the things he assumed about me, it is all way too eerily familiar. I can't decide if I want him to disappear forever or cross the line so I can have him arrested...

Anyway, love ya for the support!
